Dry Run: Major Keys to Event Transport Success, Vol. #1
A “Dry Run” is one of the most POWERFUL and Productive preps you can do to ensure your Event Transport in NYC is a Success.
A “Dry Run” can be done without the Full Fleet of cars that have been booked for the Event Transport. However, we do suggest doing the Run with a few “Event Captains” that will assist the other drivers on Event Day.
Try to do a Run even if its not in the budget. We suggest doing a Run with at least ONE vehicle so you can get a “feel” of the Event Route.
A DRY RUN WILL HELP YOUR LEADERS AND DRIVERS BE IN SYNC
During an event, it is CRUCIAL that all vendors are ON THE SAME PAGE. A “Dry Run” is practically a run through of the event before the actual event. This way, all participants can ask questions and clarify any details that seemed vague. And we all know how events get in NYC. There’s no time for questions.
A DRY RUN GIVES DRIVERS AN IDEA OF THE OPTIMAL ROUTES
If you give yourselves ample time, you could set up a Dry Run on or near Site a few days before hand. This way, the drivers & Captains can scope out the area and figure out the fastest route for drivers to take; to and from the event.
A DRY RUN ULTIMATELY TRANSLATES TO A HAPPY CLIENT
In the Service Industry, the customer comes first. Doing some practice like a Dry Run will assure you are air tight for this event. When you and your team are ready, it will show. The client will be able to pick up right away that they chose the right Event Transport, among so many in NYC.
All of your chauffeurs will be looking to YOU, the Event Captain, for guidance and direction. Completing a “Dry Run”
gives you the confidence of knowing the best ROUTE and PLAN possible. Furthermore, use this knowledge to plan Event Transport and results will be infectious. A client is able to feel when they are good hands. Once you cement that feeling, what could go wrong?
